Trova supports the operation of booking pathways and digital infrastructure used to connect guests with accommodation inventory.
Booking charges
The total amount paid by a guest for a booking may include one or more of the following components:
· accommodation charges for the stay;
· cleaning, linen or property-specific charges;
· booking fees or traveller service fees;
· merchant, payment processing or transaction-related charges;
· digital, platform or distribution-related charges;
· asset protection or guest protection charges;
· government taxes, levies or statutory charges; and
· optional extras or ancillary services.
Not all charge types apply to every booking.
The charge structure for a booking depends on the property, booking source, booking channel and services selected.
Booking structure
Bookings made through a Trova-supported website, booking engine, trading name or marketplace may involve more than one entity depending on the property, booking source and service structure.
The relevant entities involved in a booking may include the accommodation supplier, the property manager or accommodation operator, the booking platform or channel, Trova Pty Ltd, and related service or support entities involved in processing, facilitating or administering the booking.
The contracting entity and the terms applicable to a booking will be identified in the booking terms and conditions presented at the time of booking.
Allocation of charges
The guest acknowledges that not all components of the total booking price are accommodation charges.
Depending on the booking structure, certain components of the booking price may be charged, collected, received, processed or retained by the relevant accommodation supplier, Trova Pty Ltd, a related entity, the relevant booking platform or channel, or another entity involved in facilitating, processing or supporting the booking.
The applicable pricing, fees and booking terms will be disclosed during the booking process and in the booking confirmation and terms and conditions applying to that booking.
Accommodation supply
Trova does not itself own the accommodation inventory listed across supported channels.
Accommodation is supplied by the relevant accommodation operator, property manager, hotel operator or other accommodation supplier identified in the applicable booking terms and conditions.
Terms and conditions
Each booking is subject to the specific terms and conditions presented at the time of booking.
Those terms and conditions may identify the contracting entity, the accommodation supplier, the applicable cancellation terms, the pricing and fee structure, and the rights and obligations applying to the booking.
Guests should review those terms and conditions carefully before completing a booking as outlined to them prior to booking within there reservation quote.
Related entities
Trova may work with related entities and third-party service providers in connection with digital infrastructure, booking engines, website operations, payment and merchant services, customer support services, distribution and channel management, protection-related programmes, and operational or ancillary services.
Where relevant, those services form part of the overall booking, distribution and support framework.
